Creating art from scratch is time-consuming and costly, so here's a breakdown of how we price our items so you have a better understanding of where you are spending your hard earned cash!
All of our pricing is done on an individual basis and includes the cost of materials and time taken to make the piece.
Some of our pieces may be similar in design but priced differently - we factor in the cost of all of the materials that have been used. For some pieces, where we can, we use reclaimed bamboo hoops and material; the pricing will reflect this and it will be stated in the listing if that is the case. You may also see larger items that are cheaper than smaller items; again, the pricing factors in the time it takes to create a finished piece, as well as the type and cost of materials involved.
Our postage is flat rate, which means you can buy as much as you like and you will still be charged the same! We have various postage options available at checkout whether you are based in the UK or international, so you can always choose the best option for speed and your budget. Please note that all delivery times are estimated according to the respective carrier's website. International deliveries may take longer due to new customs regulations, so please bear this in mind when placing an order. You can contact me at any time to check current delivery times and if possible I may be able to arrange expedited shipping in some cases! Please also note that we cannot be held liable for any customs or tax charges that may be imposed by international borders, so please make sure you are aware if this will apply to your order.
For custom pieces, please contact Victoria who will be happy to work with you throughout the process. Victoria is happy to discuss any subject, from horror to humour! embRUDEry is a safe space, so don't be afraid to discuss your requirements. We will discuss your budget and what we can create within that, as well as taking you through the entire process keeping you informed throughout the whole experience. We'll also send you photo updates so you can see the progress being made and, if necessary, ask for changes before they can no longer be made! Custom pieces will be individually priced based on design time, materials and making time. All of this will be discussed and agreed upon beforehand to ensure that you know exactly what your finished piece will cost.
Victoria will ask for a deposit for your custom item. The size of the deposit will vary dependent on the piece. This deposit will be non-refundable, as any custom order which is cancelled or not paid for in full once it is finished still needs to cover the cost of the materials used and the time taken to complete it. Some custom orders will be unable to be resold as the item is unique to you! The deposit also covers the cost of any special materials which may need to be ordered in.
